While living in Jerusalem, I looked forward to the sunsets, especially during winter. For this particular vibrant sunset, I used a technique of time lapse to capture the movement of the clouds over a period of time.

Star and Lightning
I took this during a lightning storm off the coast of Hilton Head. After a long storm, the rain finally ceased but the lightning continued in the distance. As the clouds parted, I was able to snap a long exposure that captured the stars as well as the lightning in the distance.
